Call answering centres in India are popular

One of the prerequisites of working in a call centre is that you must be able to speak English fluently. Certainly a degree in the English language is important but certainly not a prerequisite, and if you happen to have a background in a particular discipline such as medicine or technology then that can definitely work to your advantage. People who are bilingual and who work in several languages are at an advantage as it means that they can carry out work for one country while sitting in another country. Spanish speaking people are at a great advantage in America for call answering centres in Mexico while French speakers are at an advantage in Canada. Another thing which happens to day and which is becoming more widespread is the general transportation of the call centre agents to their call centre. Because the work is often dull, the working environment has to be enhanced. One of the ways is to provide a transport service to and from the call centre workplace with often a few pick up points in the city. Call centres must provide extensive training and for countries such as India where there is a heightened incidence of crime against women, working in the safe environment of a call centre can be very advantageous.
